Promea designed the Alphatron SmartCart. Bart Massee Design provided the visualization and design support — taking the SolidWorks model into Blender for stills and an animated trailer, and into Unity for a walkable VR demo room.

Cart design by the brilliant team at Promea, led by the masterful engineering visionary Albert-Jan van Dijk. Albert-Jan has the ability to run multiple design loops overnight, and the team then picks up the direction to execute the engineering for function testing the next day. Promea is highly underestimated — one of the strongest design-engineering teams in the Netherlands, thanks to a combination of design passion, deep engineering and production-technique expertise. 30 years of experience under one roof. All projects are always team work. In the team I drive the vision, project-manage, build the prototypes, make the presentations and C-suite pitches, and build energy towards and during the execution.
The SmartCart is Promea's; the visualization and design support was built with Albert-Jan van Dijk, Frerik Meurs and Rick de Leeuw at Promea — and the Alphatron team, Anna Starkenburg, Sven Klement and their engineering team.
