Virtual Spaces
Inside the space — a walk through one of the worlds
Designing places you step inside — from a pen sketch of a VR dwelling to walkable, collaborative worlds.
The idea was to treat virtual space as real space: rooms to meet in, labs to review work in, environments to present from. It started on paper in 2015 and grew into headset-ready worlds — designed, scanned and built to walk around in. Shown here as the thinking and the process; the full space walkthroughs follow.

In the headset
Built & testedFrom the editor to the headset — building and testing the spaces at full scale.
More from the space
WalkthroughsRecorded from inside the worlds — modelled in Gravity Sketch, built in Unity, walked in the headset.
Draft selection — one clip for now, pulled from the VR Spaces set. More available (full walkthrough, PinPoint factory, Gravity Sketch builds, GS VR lab, fog studies); say which make the cut. (provisional)
Sketched first
Pen & iPadEvery space began as a drawing — an immersion dwelling, a VR ride, a self-service kiosk.
